Information collected

When you register, SpringfieldBlock collects your username, display name, email address, and password hash. The registration form checks the date of birth to enforce the 18+ requirement but does not save the entered birth date in the registration database. We store confirmation that you are an adult and which policy version you accepted. Member activity may include profile details, uploaded photos, comments, connections, and online activity indicators.

How information is used

We use account information to run the service, authenticate members, display member content, respond to reports, prevent abuse, and maintain security. Other signed-in members may see content you choose to make available on the platform.

Cookies and security

SpringfieldBlock uses a session cookie to maintain your login. We use reasonable measures to protect account information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Sharing

Member content is made available based on the platform's access controls. Information may also be disclosed to service providers operating the site or when required by law. We do not describe member-only content as confidential because other members may copy or share it.

Retention and requests

We retain data as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, and handle abuse reports. Account deletion and privacy requests should be sent using the operator's published contact method. Some records may remain in backups or where retention is legally required.

Children

SpringfieldBlock does not allow accounts for anyone under 18. If you believe a minor registered, please notify the site operator.
